A special thanks to all those users who reported issues on our Facebook page and sent us their log files. This helped us identify and resolve issues in record time.
Changes since beta 2:
- Better support for non-Roman language versions of Windows, includes fixes for errors on starting hotspot, client connections failing, and for the names of the Internet connections showing with '?' in the name (fully tested in Swedish, fixes should help others as well).
- Support for clients that use statically configured DNS servers (such as OpenDNS)
- Icons for more vendors (Canon, Sharp, Murata, Quanta).
- Connectify now alerts Windows power management that the Wi-Fi is really in use to prevent Wi-Fi cards from going to sleep at inappropriate times. Does not stop the entire machine from going to sleep (if you want to do that change your settings manually in Control Panel's Power Management applet), just stops the Wi-Fi card from going to sleep by itself.
